Tipping Points

Tipping points, when we are talking Climate Change are not good news – it’s the last little thing that tips us over the brink and into the unknown.  But it’s a positive tipping point I’m seeking with Flatpack.  That will be when we sell or give away a copy which results in a big enough group of people out there who have actually read the book and are interested in discussing the issues.  That’s why we ran the Radical Walk and Launch, why I’ll be standing in the rain at the top of Catherine Street tomorrow from 10-2 at the Independent Market; signing books in the Hunting Raven next Saturday; and doing more talks and walks.  I know quite a few people who’ve read it all now, there’s an MP with her own copy, and an aspiring MP with his….and a few bulk orders in the offing, so that tipping point is coming!  Hopefully this blog can kick in once there are enough inspired, angry, confused, opinionated people who have read it.

That’s why I wrote the book – the system is dysfunctional, do we want to decide what comes next or find it’s already in the living room?
